PURPOSE

Through the AFTER SCHOOL program, working  parents rely on THE MINT Foundation to assist with pick-up from school, homework help, and feeding their children. The after-school enrichment program provides a safe haven for children during the school year after the school day. Students are fed a nutritious meal after school and receive homework help. Students in our after-school program have shown grade improvements and a reduction in behavioral incidents during the school year.

Hours for the after-school program are from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. All holidays, breaks and closings will be in coordination with the Desoto ISD schedule. THE MINT's after-school program is open to all students that live in Dallas County and are enrolled in Kindergarten through 8th grade. We offer pickup for students that attend schools within the city limits of Desoto, Cedar Hill and Duncanville.

Registration is $35 per student and the weekly tuition is $65 (within Desoto) and $75 (outside Desoto) per student.
